Our Homestead
A behind-the-scenes peek inside the hive—where all the magic begins.
This close-up captures a bustling honeycomb filled with developing bees tucked snugly inside their hexagon homes. Each tiny cell holds the future of the colony, carefully nurtured and protected. It’s completely fascinating, and a perfect glimpse of nature hard at work.
Spring’s Sweetest Worker: The Honey Bee

Pollen Packed & Ready to Roll
Meet one of nature’s hardest workers taking a quick pit stop. With golden pollen baskets loaded and wings ready for takeoff, this honey bee is on a mission to keep flowers blooming and the world buzzing. Small but mighty—and clearly dressed for the job.
Kendall Tending the Hives
With the trees as a backdrop and the bees hard at work, Kendall is making the rounds through the apiary, checking each hive with care. It’s a hands-on moment where dedication meets nature, keeping every colony healthy, strong, and ready to thrive.
Rain-Kissed Blooms & Busy Bees
Nothing beats walking through the wildflower patch and seeing our honey bees hard at work. They're busy collecting pollen while the raindrops from this morning's shower still glisten on the poppies, making every bloom stand out just a little more. 😍 It's a reminder that every rain and every flower plays a part in supporting healthy, thriving pollinators. 🐝🦋🌻
A Well-Deserved Water Break
A fresh drink of water is just as important to a honey bee as nectar and pollen. The bees use water to help cool the hive, regulate temperature, and keep the colony healthy during the summer heat. Caught a few of our girls stopping in for a drink on this hot day before getting back to business.
